Clubbing: Outfit and Makeup

Hi everyone,
Here is a post of my latest clubbing outfit and makeup from a recent girls night out. This was quite a casual occasion so not too much glam was needed. For this look I wanted to stick to all black, being basic in colour and very simple.
What gave this outfit the edginess I wanted and made it a little unusual was the backless body. One of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe, it's a bit 'out there' from what I would call the norm. Being halter neck as well as backless meant a bra was not doable! Which is always very scary, but with this it worked.
This look was ultimately pulled together by the beautiful shoes I had on, my favourites! Being a bit of a crazy shoe addict, the heels I wore I'm just a little bit obsessed with. As well as being unbelievably comfortable they go with so many different looks, making an outfit instantly look more put together and stylish.

Here is a picture of my eye makeup from the night, a dark sparkly copper eyeshadow look with my usual big lashes and bold winged eyeliner.  This little bit of sparkle with some colour suited my outfit well, injecting some subtle colour into the look and making the eyes pop. This is a look I loved creating as I had worn this copper eyeshadow before, but only in the daytime so it was a lot less bold and dramatic. Excuse the unruly eyebrows in the photo!

For my eyeshadow I used mainly this beautiful Tom Ford palette for the look. Using the Naked Basics palette's Naked 2 as a transition colour to make all future eyshadows blend well afterwards.
Going to the Tom Ford palette next, sadly these eyeshadows don't have names so you'll just have to make do with me attempting to explain my method. I started with using the bottom left colour all over my lid to keep the colour very solid as a base, then following this with the top right gorgeous sparkly copper colour, focusing it more on the middle to inner part of my eyelid. This then followed by the bottom right dark mauve purply brown shade in my crease and outer corner. The two colour on the right of the palette I continued to switch between, building up the intensity until I had the finished look I wanted. Going back to the Naked Basics palette at the end I used Venus as a highlight on my brow bone and inner corner, making the look very bright and glowy, matching my bronzed face.
This whole makeup look lasted extremely well all night and one I had confidence wearing.

To see the whole face makeup I wore in this look, it is featured in the blog post Night Out - there I talk about my whole going out face makeup and what I use to make it last the whole night and still look good.
